Humidifier – COVID-19
spreads much faster in low humidity.
If you live in a desert, or a cold climate where heating reduces
humidity, and someone in your household is sick, you’ve probably already
thought of wearing masks and gloves.
But did you think if using a humidifier? Be sure to get a good one.

South Dakota is
extremely stable. ·
Seasonality
(summer) and low population density has South Dakota locked down tighter than
anyone imagines. Gov. Noem is correct not to impose any additional
restrictions. ·
Aggressive easing
is needed this summer, though how do you ease a state that isn’t locked
down? A re-lock will be necessary next
winter to prevent a rebound. ·
Mortality is
extremely low. Deaths in any scenario
are tiny, and the differences negligible. ·
South Dakota
rebounds before any vaccine or anything has any effect. ·
Travel risk is
modest in summer and rises in fall and winter. ·
IHME projection at
left overlooks the fall rebound and does not even project winter. It is totally inadequate. As far as summer goes it roughly agrees
with our projections. ·
Recommendation: MODERATE
RECOVERY, which is more difficult in this
case than it sounds. |
